Funeral Flowers are one of the newest specialties of the Sumeru desert region that can currently only be found at Gavireh Lajavard and Farakhkert Garden.
The Mourning Flower in Genshin Impact is somewhat similar to the Blood Orchid. Both flowers are said to bloom in the midst of battlefields where blood is shed during war. However, unlike Inazuma’s specialty, Sumeru’s flower has a much more tragic story. While the Blood Orchid is a flower that blooms proudly, the Mourning Flower is instead believed to symbolize injustice and sadness.

The ancients say that the Paris fell into disaster long ago, it is possible that the Flowers of Mourning were raised by the fallen Paris. This is even more apparent considering that the flowers are commonly found around the Fravashi Tree. If players are looking for the location of the Melancholy Flower and the route to collect this material in Genshin Impact, in this article, MGN will guide them in detail on how to collect this material fastest in version 3.6.
The location of the Mourning Flower in Genshin Impact

There are a total of 78 Mourning Flowers currently on the map in Genshin Impact, which can be divided into four collection routes. There will be ones marked with clover lying on the surface, while the Hilichurl mask icon will represent the Mourning Flower lying underground.
Just like any other regional specialty, the Mourning Flowers in Genshin Impact will reappear after 48 hours.
To make the journey to collect Mourning Flowers easier, players can use the help of Tighnari and Nahida. Tighnari will help display Sumeru’s regional specialties on the map, while Nahida allows players to gather plant materials at a distance.
Route 1: Mount Temir

The route to the first Hoa Tang Thuong farm is quite simple. Just go to the Teleport Point south of Mount Temir, then go north to collect all the Mourning Flowers in this area.
Route 2: Asipattravana Swamp

For the Asipattravana Swamp Farm route, first use the Teleport to the south and head east on the surface area. After that, return to the Teleport Point and head to the cave entrance on the northwest side. Go inside to pick up two Mourning Flowers, then head to where the player can find Julien’s lost sketch in Genshin Impact to get two more Mourning Flowers.
Route 3: Samudra . Coast

For the Samudra Coast route, you’ll need to use the underground Teleport on the west side of the Asipattravana Swamp. From here, there are two paths to go, one is through the front door and the other is behind the stairs.

As for the door at the front of the stairs, players will follow where they find the Khvarena needed to return to the control center area in Genshin Impact.

For the door at the back of the stairs, the player will need to keep going down until they reach the test field. Once there, you can surf down to collect some Mourning Flowers here.
Route 4: Tunigi Abyss

The route to farm Flowers of Mercy in Abyss Tunigi is quite complicated, so players will need to pay attention. There are a total of four paths to take for this route:
1. Left door
2. Elevator
3. Broken door
4. Yellow fence

After using Teleport, go to the door on the left until you can find a room with a bridge and airflow. From here, jump below to pick up two Mourning Flowers, then head back downwind. Once you get there, go through the door.

After entering the door, you will see that there is a hole here. Jump down and there will be another door waiting for you there. Enter this door to find the entrance to a secret room. Three Hoa Mourning and some herbal elemental beer will be here.

Next, for the broken door, you just need to go back to the Teleport, then use the small hole in the door to exit this area. After exiting, there will be a large opening consisting of ropes and bridges. From here you can hop down and you’ll find some Mourning Flowers.

Next, return to the Transfer Point and hop down the elevator in the middle. Continue jumping down and use the elevator to go down to the bottom area of the monument.

When you reach the bottom floor, there will be a door that you can open. Enter and the player will find a room with the Wanderer Hilichurl waiting there and two Flowers of Mourning nearby. You can completely pick up two flowers and then leave, but if the player still wants to continue, you can continue your journey to achieve the achievement “…Drop All Hope.” in Genshin Impact. There will also be an additional Mourning Flower near the portal if the player can reach it.

For the path with the yellow fence, move to the Teleport near the Zulqarnain Gate, then use Sorush’s Skill to remove the yellow barrier. Continue east to find the Fravashi Tree and some Mourning Flowers here.

Side Route: Northern Tunigi Abyss

This is inherently just a side route, but if the player wants to take advantage of all the materials on the map, you will not want to skip this route. First you need to use the Teleport on the west side of the Tunigi Abyss.

Go ahead and jump down to find a small hole with water and some Water Slimes.
Next, return to the Teleport and continue east until the player finds Hilichurls digging in the ground near a breakable rock. Destroy the rock to free Khvarena.
Khvarena will remove the Gray Crystal nearby, and here you’ll be able to pick up some Melancholy Flowers as well.
