Genshin Impact is about to have some balance adjustments to the new Seven Summoning Saints released in patch 3.4, including changes and nerfs.
A recent Genshin Impact leak details the upcoming changes to the Seven Saints Summoning in patch 3.4, with some of the game’s strong strategies affected. The release of version 3.3 earlier this month entailed the launch of the long-awaited TCG mode, which was rumored to launch a few months earlier. The game has seen strategies form around some of TCG’s strongest character cards, including Ayaka, Collei and Yoimiya among others. Now, HoYoverse has planned to change some Character Cards for the upcoming version.

Genshin Impact’s new TCG mode saw some leaks of new cards in the first update after the mini-game was released. Leakers have revealed that the version 3.4 update will add two new character cards to the TCG mode with popular characters Beidou and Klee joining the game. Version 3.3 of the game had a new character added after being included at launch, with Cyno first appearing after the first week of the update ended. Now the next update to TCG will bring the first balance changes.

A recent leak from leaker Genshin Impact Pengepul Teyvat details upcoming changes to four Character Cards and Event Cards for version 3.4, including the unreleased Beidou. Yoimiya will have a change to her Rage Skill, specifically the mana requirement increased from 2 to 3, similar to that of Collei’s Talent Card which will increase from 3 Grass Elemental Dice to 4. Skill Beidou’s Wrath will also increase the mana cost required even though her release previously had the same value as Yoimiya’s, also its damage reduced from 4 to 3.

Other minor changes include that Maguu Kenki’s Skill has its damage removed while the Mint Roll Bushmeat Event Card will now only reduce the cost of the next three attacks. The changes to version 3.4 will aim to address some of the game’s current strongest decks that formed in its initial competitive meta. Yoimiya has been a core part of one of the Genius Invokation TCG’s strongest decks since very early on, playing as part of the Meltdown deck with Ayaka. Collei, as one of only two Grass-type characters in the Seven Saint Summons, served as a strong part of the early builds revolving around the Growth response.

The addition of the Seven Saints Summon in version 3.3 brought the latest permanent game feature to Genshin Impact, joining the battle-focused La Hoan Tham Canh and the Tran Ca Kettle housing system. Genshin’s end-game content has been the subject of fan criticism for not adding more combat-focused elements to it, only introducing Luo Huan Shen Jing for consistent combat content. While Genshin is constantly adding new areas and stories, fans continue to lobby for Genshin Impact to launch more new end-game modes.
