A new leak from Genshin Impact reveals the first details about the arrival of Captain Varka of the West Wind Knights, which is rumored to appear in the game. HoYoverse’s RPG recently saw a new focus on Mondstadt’s first region in patch 3.5. The return of the Windflower Festival is set to bring Mondstadt’s newest character, Mika, to debut in the second half of the update. Now, the community is sharing the first information about a long-awaited character.
Despite Mondstadt’s status as the first area of Genshin Impact and the position of authority Varka holds, the player has yet to officially meet the Captain of the West Wind Knights. Varka’s appearance is said to be different from many fans’ initial expectations of a gray-haired middle-aged character, unlike the model of an experienced man as some people mistakenly believe. Varka is confirmed to have a younger appearance and his character model will not have a beard. Varka was previously revealed by Tao to first appear in patch 3.8 and will become more prominent once Fontaine is released.
