The recently added new Genshin Impact skins seem to have provided a significant amount of damage that lasts as long as Mona is part of the party.
Kodoani.com – Character skins have dominated the development of Genshin Impact since the game was released in September 2020. Genshin hasn’t released a skin set until update 1.6 added in the summer – themed costumes for Barbara and Jean.
Costumes have been one of the main topics in the game’s community over the past few weeks. Between version 2.4 adding skins for Ningguang and Keqing and recent leaks hinting at skins for the Mondstadt characters Fischl and Diluc, players have encountered many rumors and theories about other skins that could appear in the update. The second part of the update Genshin Impact 2.4 has now officially added alternative costumes for 4 famous characters: Jean, Mona, Rosaria and Amber. A recent post on the popular Genshin Impact subreddit revealed that the skins provided a significant amount of damage before miHoYo decided to do a quick fix. Players even requested that the post be removed from the subreddit before it caught the attention of miHoYo.
The 48% damage increase largely affects the amount of damage dealt, and players are often very creative with such bugs even if they don’t stay for long. Unfortunately, according to many responses in the comments, the buff is not applied in extreme circumstances, which may affect if you want to apply this buff to clear 36 stars. While most of the new skins are only minor changes to the original design, Rosaria users will see some significant changes. Previous leaks have also suggested that Mondstadt characters will be the next to receive skins after Keqing and Ningguang are released official skins.
So far 2022 has been a great year for Genshin Impact as the studio introduces two new characters to the game, Yun Jin and Shenhe. The update also features three rerun banners for some of the fan-favorite characters. Xiao was placed with Shenhe in the first banner while Ganyu and Zhongli came as part of the second banner. Also, the official Genshin Impact social media accounts confirmed a new character will appear. in update 2.5, lightning-type character Yae Miko. She seems to be coming along with the famous Kokomi and Shogun Raiden.
Genshin Impact is available now on PC, PS4, PS5 and mobile devices. The Switch version is currently in development.
