Dehya is currently open on a limited version of 3.5 banner and if you want to invest in her then you should keep the following important things in mind.
Besides the players who decided to skip this banner, there were also many players who chose to invest in Dehya in Genshin Impact 3.5. Version 3.5 will feature a pair of new quests, including the next chapter of the Magic God Quest, as well as the return of the Windflower Festival in Mondstadt. One of the highlights of the update is the game’s newest five-star character, Dehya.

Dehya has appeared in several character updates with a prominent role in Genshin Impact’s Sumeru region story. Recent trailers have revealed elements related to Dehya’s storyline and gameplay, leaving many fans excitedly waiting for her official debut. However, one gamer is reminding players that Dehya is suffering from a lack of synergy with some other support characters.

Reddit user u/Rasbold reminded players of the important interplay between Dehya’s Rage Skill and some of the other characters’ abilities. Dehya’s Rage isn’t considered a normal attack or a massive attack even though its animation is essentially the same as that of arm attacks, which means that some sources of damage support with characters enhance their abilities. Other normal attacks won’t work well with Dehya.

Abilities that add effects to basic attacks such as Xingqiu and Yelan’s Rage Skill will not activate against Dehya. This ability also will not receive any support buffs applied to normal attacks, like those of the Gladiator relic set. It is for these reasons that it is likely that Dehya’s kit will be more suitable for straight stat buffs along with pure elemental formations instead of focusing on more elemental reactions.

The lack of synergy with some of Genshin Impact’s most popular support characters comes as fans criticize Dehya’s expected strength. Many have felt that Dehya’s gameplay is somewhat underwhelming, and this causes Dehya to inadvertently be underestimated before players actually get a chance to experience her. Some have suggested that her power level may have been intentionally lowered due to HoYoverse’s intention to add Dehya to the regular banner after patch 3.5 ended. Dehya will become the second new five-star character added to the regular banner since Sumeru was released, joining the five-star 3.0 Tighnari.
