Global version launching in January 2021; Japanese version will continue
Kodoani.com – Crunchyroll Games announced on Thursday that it will end service on the global version of the mobile game. Princess Connect! Re: Dive on April 30. Crunchyroll Games has closed its in-game store and no longer has in-app purchases.
The game will still be available in Japanese after the global version ends service.
Crunchyroll released the global version of the game in English worldwide in January 2021.
Cygames announced the game as the sequel to CyberAgent and Cygames as Princess Connect! mobile game, released between 2015 and 2016. The game was released in Japan in February 2018.
In the story of “anime RPG”, the main character wakes up with no memories in an unfamiliar location. The main character then meets the girls and gets closer to uncovering a hidden mystery.
The game inspired an anime adaptation that premiered in April 2020. The second season of the anime premiered in January 2022.
The game also adapted a manga series through Cygames’ free comics service Cycomics.
