With God of War now officially playable on PC, this is a better time to continue Kratos’ journey. Those new to the PS4 version should read this article.

Kodoani.com – God of War (2018) is a monumental achievement by Cory Barlog and Santa Monica Studios. With the success of the PS3 platform, now with a completely new story and gameplay style different from PS4, the game has been successful on all fronts. Now, with the release of God of War Ragnarok coming soon, players who haven’t seen the first game in the series should definitely do the same ASAP!

PC players always want to enjoy God Of War on PC platform. After all, with the release of the critically acclaimed game on the platform, these gamers really have no excuse not to enjoy one of the best action adventure games of the modern generation. . Of course, given how overwhelming God of War’s mechanics may seem at first glance, new players should keep the following points in mind to make their journey through the Nordic kingdoms easier.

10 Grasp the battle system as soon as possible

One of the highlights of God of War is definitely its combat system. The game is brimming with violence, namely in the form of finisher moves, Runic Attacks, and everything else along the way that Kratos can perform in combat.

However, the combat system can also take a while to get used to. Players should try and use early battles to master dodging and dodging in the game – two valuable mechanics that will serve the player well throughout the entire experience.

9 Atreus Is Valuable In Combat – Don’t Ignore the Boy

Atreus may look like a helpless child when first encountered by the player, but that is far from the truth. Boy’s arrows can be extremely powerful when used properly, especially when they gain magical abilities.

While it’s fine to have Kratos in charge in battle and all is well, sometimes kratos will need his son’s support. Using his arrow ability can be extremely helpful to achieve the same thing.

8 Always remember how valuable Kratos’ fists are

The Leviathan Ax may be an incredibly cool weapon, but it’s not the only weapon in Kratos’ arsenal. The powerful fist is easily one of the most overlooked moves in God of War’s arsenal.

Players should not dodge Kratos’ ax throwing and use his powerful fists whenever necessary. It can subdue weaker enemies and allows Kratos to deliver devastating finishing blows that are extremely eye-catching.

7 Don’t linger in areas with inexplicable secrets

God of War adopts a rather linear approach to its plot and level design, but sometimes branches off areas to allow for more exploration. However, in these impromptu expeditions, players will encounter some unsolvable secrets that can make you quite uncomfortable.

Players should not dwell on these hidden treasures and simply continue with the main storyline. This is because most of these secrets will be able to be unlocked deeper as the player has more tools.

6 Try and complete as many side quest activities as you can

There are several things players can accomplish in God of War that are not related to the main plot. This includes everything from fulfilling certain conditions to unleashing giant dragons!

Players should try and complete these side activities whenever given the opportunity. Sometimes they are not only a welcome diversion from the main story, but also give the player access to more XP and valuable resources.

5 Make the most of Runic attacks in battle

Runic Attacks are powerful moves that Kratos can perform in battle. Suffice to say, these abilities can be quite beneficial for players who might struggle with some powerful enemies. Players should prioritize these attacks and level up certain abilities whenever they get the chance. Incorporating certain Runic Attacks can help optimize a gamer’s gameplay in God of War.

4 Always keep an resurrection stone

After a certain point in the story, the player will use the Resurrection Stone. These consumable healing items are incredibly valuable and can save Kratos from the brink of death in an extremely difficult situation.

Over time, the player will use the Resurrection Stone more throughout the game in God of War. Getting these stones is a must, especially in the fight against powerful bosses and tough enemies.

3 Never underestimate how important Kratos is

God of War may not go deep into the game’s RPG mechanics, but it’s enough to prioritize the levels in the game. A single level up of Kratos allows for more damage while taking greater punishment before succumbing to these hits.

If the game’s combat is getting tough, then upgrading Kratos’s level is the way to go. This can be accomplished by upgrading Kratos’ armor or spells, which can make the game more enjoyable and less frustrating in the long run.

2 Use Hacksilver and use resources wisely

Hacksilver is money that players use in God of War to buy and upgrade items. This, along with certain vital resources, makes up much of God of War’s tightly built economy.

Players should be careful when spending Hacksilver and using valuable in-game resources. Upgrading armor in the early parts of the game seemed like a good option at the time, but instead, there are bound to be better pieces of equipment that are worth the investment.

1 Get as many collectibles as possible

The vast world of God of War is filled with collectibles, which is the norm in most modern games. While this may seem tedious, it would be beneficial to collect most of these collectibles whenever the player has a chance.

Things like Odin’s Ravens offer small XP boosts, which is always welcome. The Yggdrasil Dew is particularly important in this respect as it allows players to permanently upgrade Kratos’ stats, which is obviously a huge boon for obvious reasons.

God of War is available now for PS4 and PC.
