Pierre Zandrowicz of Atlas V and Ken Iyadomi of Bandai Namco Filmworks announced the project at Anime NYC on November 18, with a brief teaser video containing the logo. Zandrowicz describes the project as “not a game, nor just a narrative experience—it’s an immersive adventure that takes advantage of the best of both worlds.”
This is the first time that Sunrise, the Gundam manufacturer, has collaborated with a French company, Atlas V.
In addition to “Mobile Suit Gundam Silver Phantom,” Bandai Namco Filmworks also announced another project, “Mobile Suit GTA: Requiem for Vengeance,” an animated series that will have six 30-minute episodes and will air worldwide. . This film is being produced entirely using Epic Games’ Unreal Engine 5. However, the official release date of the film has not been revealed.
