Kodoani.com – The AnimeJashin event at the Akihabara CulZone location, Tokyo announced on Sunday that Vocaloid idol Hatsune Miku will appear in the anime. Dropkick on My Devil! X. Series Dropkick on My Devil! previously collaborated with Hatsune Miku to promote Hokkaido, and Hatsune Miku was a special guest at Sunday’s event.
The event also confirms that Dropkick on My Devil! The new season will premiere in July. Previously, Hokkaido Cultural Broadcasting Co., Ltd. will begin broadcasting a version of Dropkick on My Devil! X Mame Anime on April 6. In the anime, Jashin-chan and the others visit various localities in Hokkaido with their native daughter Hatsune Miku. The Hokkaido version of the show is related to the Domingo multimedia project introducing Hokkaido.
Virtual YouTuber (VTuber) Asano Ruri has won the final round of auditions to play the vampire princess Ecute in the new season. Rena Hasegawa will voice Atre, Ecute’s instructor.
A campaign supporter pledged 1.1 million yen (about US$10,000) to the new season’s title and explained the title shows affection in the hope that “Yurine and Jashin-chan will continue to surpass over each other and fight forever.”
Yukiwo’s original comedy manga revolves around Yurine Hanazono, a college student who summons Jashin-chan, a demon from the underworld. Now they have to live together in a shabby apartment in the Jinbōchō district of Tokyo. If Yurine dies, Jashin-chan will return to the underworld, so she constantly plots to kill Yurine.
The first anime season premiered in July 2018. The anime is streamed exclusively on Amazon Prime Video in and out of Japan. Amazon Prime Video premiered its final episode in October 2018.
Part two, Dropkick on My Devil!! Dash, premiered in April 2020 with 11 episodes.
