Kodoani.com – At Saturday's Jump Festa '25 event, a new promotional video for the anime series' second season Hell's Paradise: Jigokurakubased on the manga by Yūji Kaku, was introduced. The video reveals that the new season will officially air in January 2026. Crunchyroll confirmed that it will stream the anime alongside its Japanese broadcast.
Crunchyroll also shared the video with subtitles on the X/Twitter platform, attracting great attention from the fan community.
Returning Staff and Notable Changes
Kaori Makita will continue to direct the anime at MAPPA, while Twin Engine is responsible for production planning. Akira Kindaichi takes on the role of series creator, while Akitsugu Hisagi continues to design the characters for the animation. Composer Yoshiaki Dewa, who delivered emotional melodies last season, will return to compose music.
The production team also has some important changes:
Chika Toda takes on the role of visual director, replacing Hyo Gyu Park. Junichi Higashi becomes the new art director, replacing e-caesar.
Additionally, Ryōta Suzuki will join the cast as Yamada Asaemon Shugen, a character who first appeared in the final episode of season one.
