His journey begins innocently enough at a casino but takes an unforeseen turn when he witnesses a car chase and a violent shootout, all of which are triggered by a man possessing what appears to be a “lucky” card.
When Finn looks further, he discovers a secret group called High Card. Their goal is to collect 52 X-Playing cards hidden throughout the kingdom. Those who own these cards will be given special supernatural abilities. These cards possess remarkable power to reveal a person’s inner characteristics or inner “friend”.
As the fifth member of the High Cards, Finn is sent with the group on a dangerous mission to retrieve these powerful cards. Operating secretly, the squad assumed the identity of employees of the high-end automobile manufacturer Pinochle, carrying out orders directly from King Fourland.
However, their path is not easy. Who’s Who, a rival car manufacturer determined to overthrow Pinochle, and Klondike, a famous Mafia family, are High Card’s two formidable opponents. Ideas of justice, desire, and revenge can spark a chaotic confrontation that leads to violence.
