In Demon Slayer (Demon Slayer), Fire God Lac is a sword fighting technique combined with the Breath of Fire technique handed down in the Kamado family. The main character Tanjiro used this technique when fighting as a Swordsman.
This is a powerful fighting technique and is nearly unstoppable if used by a well-trained person. Hoa Than Than Lac has a long history and is very complex in itself.
The creation and use of Fire God Lac and other moves is an important element in Demon Slayer, it is considered the “legend” of the series as well as the origin of the Swordsman’s fighting skills.
Fire God God Lac is inspired by Kagura dance

In Japanese, the name of the God of Fire is Hinokami Kagura. Kagura is a dance related to Shinto worship. Followers of this religion often perform the above dance to honor the gods and spirits.
Kagura was originally made to invite the Sun Goddess out of the cave. In Demon Slayer, this idea greatly affects the Fire God, it is disguised as Kagura to hide from those who want to destroy them.
Origin of Breath moves

The Breath of the Sun is the source of the Fire God of Bliss, it is also the basis for all the Breath moves being used by all Swordsmen. The legendary swordsman Yoriichi was the creator of the Breath of the Sun, who taught the technique to his students.
However, each student of Yoriichi has different abilities, so he adjusted the technique to bring better fighting skills to his students. In this way, Yoriichi creates multiple Breath moves with different names for techniques.
Legendary Swordsman Yoriichi and the Breath of the Sun

Tsugikuni Yoriichi is a prodigy Swordsman whose strength and talent have never been surpassed by others. As a child, Yoriichi was able to defeat larger opponents, despite their training, and as an adult, he defeated more demons than anyone.
Yoriichi created the Breath of the Sun on his own, which was later developed and adapted into various Breath moves. He also created the thirteenth sword stance that had the power to almost destroy the leader and strongest of the demons, Muzan.
The origin of Muzan’s scars is from the Breath of the Sun

Yoriichi almost killed Muzan even though he was the ancestor of demons and the strongest demon. Yoriichi used the Breath of the Sun – Thirteenth Awakening to do this, however Muzan survived and fled.
But Yoriichi’s use of Breath of the Sun left Muzan so badly injured that his body was covered with scars. They didn’t fade even though hundreds of years had passed since their battle broke out.
Kokushibo’s Breath of the Moon Technique

Yoriichi’s twin brother Kokushibo wanted to create a move that was the opposite of Breath of the Sun, so he created Breath of the Moon.
Kokushibo attempted to destroy the Breath of the Sun after becoming a demon by destroying anyone who used it. Fortunately, he did not know about the existence of the Fire God Than Lac.
The story of the two moves Breath of the Sun and Breath of the Moon is reminiscent of the story of the Shinto gods, the Goddess of the Sun (Amaterasu) and the God of the Moon (Tsukuyomi-no-Mikoto).
The great-grandfather Sumiyoshi was the one who passed the technique on to the next generation

Sumiyoshi is Tanjiro’s great-grandfather and the first person in the Kamado family to learn the Breath of the Sun move. After watching Yoriichi dance the Fire God Blessing Dance for the last time, Sumiyoshi memorized all the moves so that he could pass it on to the next generation.
With Sumiyoshi, he began to teach the technique to his son again under the name of the God of Fire. Sumiyoshi was also given a pair of Hanafuda earrings, which were given by Yoriichi as an heirloom.
The meaning of Fire God Than Lac in Kanji

It is revealed that it is the same as the Breath of the Sun move. However, the relationship between the two techniques is hinted at through the moves’ names, at least in the original Japanese version of Demon Slayer.
The kanji for the word “sun” and the word “fire” are pronounced the same. The “hi” foreshadows that they can be connected even before the viewer notices.
The perfect camouflage for Breath of the Sun

The Breath of the Sun is the original move, it’s really like the Fire God God Bliss. Kukoshibo tries to destroy all users of the Breath of the Sun, however he is unable to figure out why the technique still exists.
This is explained by the fact that the Kamado family secretly circulated the Breath of Fire, this move used the name of Fire God of Bliss to hide the truth behind it and avoid Kokushibo’s pursuit.
Thirteenth Sword Position of Breath of the Sun

The Breath of the Sun possesses twelve sword poses that can be used in tandem or separately in battles. In addition, there is the thirteenth sword stance created by Yoriichi to destroy Muzan by destroying vital parts of his body.
Muzan has the ability to change shape to hide. In order to use the thirteenth sword stance, the wielding Swordsman needed to repeat the first twelve sword stances consecutively at lightning speed.
This increases the Swordsman’s stamina, accuracy, and agility, allowing the user to move faster and strike more accurately.
Fire God of Bliss is only used by the Kamado family

The Fire God of Bliss is known and used only by members of the Kamado family. This is a dance and technique passed down from father to son, so it has been passed down through generations.
In addition to the technique, the Hanafuda earrings are also passed down and the son will wear them in battle, which is also a sign that he has learned this technique.
