Compared to last season, T1 may not be able to keep the unbeaten streak, but in the group stage of the LCK Spring 2023 they completely overwhelmed the individual titles.
The LCK Spring 2023 T1 season featured the typical team with 5 preserved members and they also excelled in becoming the typical team of the tournament through the vote of LCK experts.

T1 is the almighty lineup
This confirms that T1 is not only strong but also very even in terms of expertise when each individual can promote their strengths compared to the rest of the competitors. In Spring 2022, although T1 was unbeaten in the group stage, they only had 4 names in the Typical Team. But this time the situation was different when no one was able to overcome Zeus, Oner, Faker, Gumayusi and Keria in each specific position.

In addition, Support Keria also won the individual titles of the player with the most MVP points (1300 points) and the best player (according to experts’ votes). With these two awards, it’s clear that the player born in 2002 fully deserves this when there are a series of eye-catching performances, along with the ability to explore the meta with many ADC champions brought in to support.
T1’s dominance also helps the community pay more attention to the No. 2 and No. 3 Typical Teams. Specifically, the pair Peanut and Chovy are still the leading players of Gen.G Esports this season after the departure of Ruler, while Deft and Kellin are the two most stable names of Dplus KIA. In the top lane, Kiin continued to prove his ability when playing in a stronger team than KT Rolster.

The third line-up was equally notable as having members of the top four teams, while “super team” Hanwha Life Esports and Liiv SANDBOX made it to the playoffs, but no players were present. As planned, the LCK Spring 2023 playoffs will start this week with BO5 matches between KT and LSB, HLE and DK. These matches will take place at 3pm on March 22 and 23, respectively, according to Vietnam time.
