Kodoani TV anime main website “I Shall Survive with Potions!” (Potion-danomi de Ikinobimasu!) – based on the novel series by FUNA – has officially announced a premiere date.According to new information, the anime will be broadcast on October 7, at 26:00 ( actually October 8, at 2:00 a.m., or October 7, at 1:00 p.m. EDT).
The anime will be broadcast in the “Animation!!!” schedule. on ABC and TV Asahi’s 24 branch network, and then on BS Fuji. The world premiere of the first episode was shown at the Anime Expo event on July 3.
The anime’s story follows Kaoru Nagase, who suddenly loses her body after the Earth’s custodian deals with a disfigurement. She reincarnated into another world, less culturally developed. Not accepting the position of the underdog, Kaoru requested the power to create potions whenever she wanted, with any effect she wanted. Using this power, she begins to build a new life for herself in a whole new world.

Nobuaki Nakanishi is directing the anime at Studio Jumondo, Chisato Kikunaga is adapting Sukima’s character designs for animation, Takayo Ikami is supervising the script, and Hiroaki Tsutsumi is composing the music at Pony Canyon. Actors Haruki Iwata and Moeka Koizumi will perform the ending theme song “Love is a potion” under the band name harmoe.
The story was originally launched on the Shōsetsu-ka ni Narou (“Let’s Be a Novelist”) website in 2015. It was later published by Kodansha with illustrations by Sukima from June 2017. A manga adaptation by Hibiki Kokonoe also launched on Kodansha’s Suiyōbi no Sirius website in June 2017.
