Rising Impact is Suzuki’s first published series, serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump from November 1998 to February 2002. Netflix describes the upcoming anime: “In Rising Impact, Gawain Nanaumi is a third grader with an incredible interest in baseball and a real ability to throw the ball. During a chance encounter with a female professional golfer, Kiria Nishino, he learned that golf would allow him to hit the ball farther than any other sport.
