Summary of Chapter 69
The previous chapter started with Lucas thinking that this mission was no different from going against the Kingdom.
His job is to follow the contract and monitor the hostages. We can see Victor trying to surround the academy with a giant spell.
Chap's scenario then shifts back to the academy, presumably before the attack begins. Neid, Eruki and Shirone are discussing the mass. Neid suggests that they should place Shirone's almighty name in the God particles.

Infinite Mage Chapter 70: Forgot spell or side effect
The next morning we learned about the promise the three of them had made to each other. They need to graduate together and also need to go to fourth grade this semester.
We then see Hirone bringing coffee to Amy and Cerielle. That's when he realized something was wrong with the way they reacted and talked to him. It was like they were meeting each other for the first time.
The same thing happened with Mark and the Professor. In a panic, Hirone ran back to their research house and now even Neid and Eruki no longer remember him.
Thoughts and conclusions
Now the ending of the Chap really surprised me. I thought the attack on the academy might start but this was completely unexpected.
