Kodoani.com – Official Twitter account for TV anime “Ippon” Again by Yumuraoka! (Mō Ippon!) revealed three additional voice actors for the anime on Monday. The cast are all members of Hakata Minami High School Judo Club, and will appear in the anime’s eighth episode on February 26.
The new cast includes Yuki Yomichi as Sachi Minato (top), Ai Kakuma as Natsu Umehara (bottom right) and Ikumi Hasegawa as Kotoko Nogisaki (bottom left).
The series premiered on TV Tokyo on January 8 before airing on TV Osaka, TV Setouchi, and BS TV Tokyo.

Ken Ogiwara is directing the anime at BAKKEN RECORD, and Aya Satsuki is in charge of the series’ scripts. Airi Takekawa is designing the characters and serving as the animation director. Music is composed by Shun Narita, produced by Pony Canyon. Subway Daydream performed the opening theme song “Stand by Me.”
The manga follows Michi Sonoda, who planned to quit judo after her last tournament in junior high. However, her best friend Sanae Takigawa invites her to continue studying judo in high school.
Muraoka launched the ongoing manga in Akita Shoten’s Weekly Shōnen Champion magazine in October 2018. The manga’s 23rd compiled book volume will be published on April 7.
