The game's release date of February 27 has been postponed due to delays in the airing of the fifth season's anime episodes.
Kodoani.com – Official account of the action RPG “Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?: Fulland of Water and Light” (Japanese title: Dungeon ni Deai o Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darō ka: Mizu to Hikaru no Fulland) announced that the game's release date will be postponed to March 13. The reason for this delay is to synchronize with the new broadcast schedule of the remaining episodes in the fifth season of the anime of the same name, as the game's story takes place after the events of the current season.
Initially, the game was scheduled to launch on February 27 above Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam, supporting both languages Japan and Older brother. Notably, the limited edition in Japan will come with a completely new short story by the light novel author himself, Fujino Ōmoricomposed, promises to expand the world of the series.
Meanwhile, the anime production team announced a new streaming schedule for the delayed episodes. Episode 12 and 13 will be broadcast early on Abema Premium on the day February 7and continue with episode 14 on the day February 26. Last episode (episode 15) will air on the day March 5. On the Abema platform, episodes will usually be streamed one day later.
Fulland of Water and Light is the newest game in the franchise, continuing the success of Battle Chroniclean action role-playing game released in August 2023. The game launched in 80 countries, including Japan, and was recently expanded to other platforms. PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 in February 2024.
The fifth season of the anime Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?, titled Hōjō no Megami-hen (The Goddess of Fertility Arc), debuted in October 2024 and is streaming on HIDIVE in regions such as the United States, Canada, England, and Australia. However, this season encountered several broadcast delays, including episode 12, originally scheduled to air on December 20, 2024, now moved to early spring 2025.
