Jaekyung will take care of Kim Dan for the first time in the story, much to the young doctor’s surprise. To date, most of their agreements have been professionally interactive or involved some form of transaction. However, this time things will be different as Kim Dan will take care of Jaekyung when needed in Jinx Chapter 44.
Kim Dan was extremely miserable when he met his boss’s ex-lover and learned his perspective on everything. The young doctor was stunned by his brother’s words, but he said nothing. Instead, he left to reflect on the things that had been said and what to do about them.
For all Yaoi understood, he needed to work to get a gift for his master. Jaekyung’s birthday is approaching and the number of gifts he receives seems to be piling up. However, gaining this new knowledge will affect how he pursues things, and they add a bit of foreshadowing to what’s to come.

Jinx Chapter 44 will see the roles reversed as Kim takes care of a drunk Jaekyung at his house. This romantic drama has repeatedly dropped hints about Jaekyung not taking any precautions while working out. We recently saw that when Jaekyung caught Kim Dan and the others eating Ramen and ruining their health in preparation for the upcoming competition.
Things will be a lot different when it’s Jaekyung’s birthday as he can’t refuse due to the nature of the occasion. The MMA fighter was not happy when the clubs announced a surprise party for him despite his wishes.
His reaction was predictable but shocking to those who wanted to celebrate his coming. They were silent because he refused to celebrate this day.
While Jaekyung succeeded in dampening the group’s happy atmosphere, he had to admit. One of his coaches walked in and told him they were there to celebrate, not to intimidate.
From then on, Jaekyung drank alcohol and fell into the trance that the drink brought him. Turns out, even though he seems tough on the outside, his tolerance for alcohol is on the lower end, a clumsier side of him, if you may.
Summarize
Jinx Chapter 43 shows Kim Dan worried in the first part of the story as he reflects on his relationship with Jaekyung. Kim has forgotten everything Jaekyung did to her, and may even have forgiven him. However, that forgiveness comes at the price of realizing that he sees Jaekyung as more than just his master.
While contemplating, Dr. Dan went around a bend in the road and fell, injuring his arms and knees. This resulted in him going to the hospital for a small visit before returning to his place, where Jaekyung was waiting for him. However, the MMA fighter is so busy preparing for his next match that he hasn’t paid much attention to Kim lately.
The next day, Kim was still thinking but he also had to work and take care of the gym members. Since Jaekyung blew on his face, the bottom tried not to stretch Jaekyung’s body too much.
Although he was successful in doing so, his wounds ended up being exposed, making Jaekyung wonder where Kim got them. However, he didn’t go into too much detail, but usually he didn’t seem worried or curious.
