Joking is not funny, the VCS fanpage was publicly criticized by T1 fans

Recently, the VCS fanpage and T1 fans just had a stressful drama, the incident that took place on March 9 originated from a congratulatory post on the VCS fanpage. Specifically, SGB as well as Shogun won the double MVP of the match after a 2-0 victory over Team Flash. The fanpage has given many compliments to the sniper of the buffalo herd, but the problem that arose was the phrase “Guma Dad” (roughly translated: Gumayusi’s father). Many people think that this phrase VCS used has touched T1.

This joke originally originated from MSI 2022, when facing T1, the young bot lane pair of SGB had 2 successful duo kills in a row against Gumayusi and Keria. Although they could not beat T1, the fact that Shogun and Taki were able to overwhelm the T1 couple made Vietnamese fans extremely excited. And the joke “Shogun is Guma’s father” was born here.

On the other hand, the MSI 2022 milestone also marks the decline of Gumayusi’s performance. T1’s ADC dropped heavily and it wasn’t until Worlds 2022 that it gradually stabilized. After receiving backlash from the T1 fan community, VCS’s page immediately deleted the post that led to the drama. As for T1, they didn’t have any feedback on the drama. Although the incident did not affect the two teams, the battle between the fans of both sides broke out.
