Jujutsu Kaisen, My Hero Academia, Dragon Ball Super All Made NYT Bestseller List

Gege Akutami’s Jujutsu Kaisen, Kōhei Horikoshi’s My Hero Academia, and Toyotarō and Akira Toriyama’s Dragon Ball Super all made The New York Times bestseller list.

The New York Times posted a Graphic Books and Manga bestseller list on their official website in early October. Jujutsu Kaisen had two entries, with Volume 1 and Volume 20 ranked 14th and 9th, respectively. Dragon Ball Super Volume 19 ranked at number 11. My Hero Academia ranked highest among the three titles, with Volume 35 coming in at number 3 behind Hooky Volume 3 and Twenty Thousand Fleas Under the Sea. The New York Times previously published a Graphic Books and Manga bestseller list that was first updated four years ago in October 2019.

Kōhei Horikoshi wrote and illustrated My Hero Academia, and the manga began serialization in Shueisha’s shōnen manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Jump in July 2014. Shueisha collected the My Hero Academia chapters into 38 tankōbon volumes. established), the latest volume was released in June 2023. Toyotarō and Akira Toriyama’s Dragon Ball Super manga began serialization in the August 2015 issue of V Jump. Viz Media owns the English language licenses for both the Dragon Ball Super and My Hero Academia manga.

Gege Akutami is the author of the manga Jujutsu Kaisen, which has also received many adaptations in various media. Jujutsu Kaisen has been serialized in Shueisha’s shōnen manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Jump since March 2018, with chapters collected and published in 24 standalone volumes to date. Viz Media also holds the license to release the manga in English and has published Jujutsu Kaisen in print since December 2019. Shueisha publishes the series in English on its Manga Plus online platform.

Jujutsu Kaisen, My Hero Academia and Dragon Ball Super are all available on Viz Media’s online platform.
