In addition to these more obvious references, the opening also features more subtle details, such as a brief shot of the extremely powerful Mahoraga’s wheel.

In fact, based on its extremely high quality, it might be one of the best anime openings of the year so far. If Studio MAPPA can ensure the depiction of the Shibuya incident lives up to this opening, then Jujutsu KaisenIts second season will easily be considered one of the best anime of the year.
