Kagurabachi Chapter 62, titled Iori, begins with Samura's daughter, Iori, waking up from a recurring dream in which she holds someone's hand. Living under a false identity in Kyoto, she believes that her father abandoned her and her mother long before she was born.
Turning on the TV, Iori sees news about the Kabuki Theater massacre, which disgusts her. She goes to school, noticing the dark sky dominated by a giant eye, a phenomenon related to her recent strange dreams and fleeting images of someone resembling Samura.
At school, classmate Ikura, influenced by Chihiro Rokuhira's actions in the Kabuki Theater, gets a self-drawn tattoo replicating Chihiro's scar. While Iori dismisses Chihiro as the killer, recurring visions of her hint at a deeper connection in Kagurabachi Chapter 62.
Later, Kuguri and the female magician Hishaku infiltrate the school, kill a teacher, and use blood recognition to locate Samura's daughter. When Kuguri threatens a student, Iori intervenes. Masumi and Chihiro arrive in time, and Chihiro engages Kuguri in battle while Masumi analyzes Iori's sealed memories in Kagurabachi Chapter 62.
