Volume 1 of the Kagurabachi manga has revealed its cover ahead of its February 2 release date in Japan. Takeru Hokanozo’s manga began serialization in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine last September and has so far released 15 chapters.
MANGA Plus is publishing Kagurabachi in English – the manga is quickly becoming one of the top titles on the platform. Currently, it ranks 10th on the Hottest Manga list with 134,154 views (following closely behind Oshi no Ko and Black Clover: popular WSJ titles like Boruto: The Blue Vortex, Chainsaw Man, ONE PIECE and Jujutsu Kaisen are dominating top list). The plot is described as: Young Chihiro spends his days practicing under the guidance of his famous swordsmith father. One day he hopes to become a great swordsmith. The silly father and the serious son – they thought these days would last forever. But suddenly, tragedy struck. A dark and bloody day. Chihiro and his blade now live only for revenge. Epic fencing action!
New chapters of the manga are released every Sunday – the next chapter is expected on January 21.
