The 3rd anime season based on Aka Akasaka’s manga recently ended
Kodoani.com – This year’s 31st issue of Shueisha’s Young Jump magazine revealed on Thursday that the manga Kaguya-sama: Love is War Aka Akasaka will end with 14 chapters. Without any delay, the manga will end in October.
The manga entered its final volume in October 2021.
All is fair when love is war!
Two geniuses. Two brains. Two hearts. A battle. Who will confess first…?!
Kaguya Shinomiya and Miyuki Shirogane are the two geniuses at the top of the prestigious academy’s student council, making them the elite among the elite. But it was lonely at the top and each fell in love with the other. There is only one big problem that stands in the way of happy love – both are too proud to be the first to confess their feelings and thus become “losers” in the love competition! And so begin their daily plan to force the other to confess first!
Akasaka started the series in Shueisha’s Miracle Jump magazine in May 2015 but switched to Young Jump in March 2016. Shueisha published the manga’s 26th volume on June 17.
The manga inspired a television anime that premiered in January 2019 and aired for 12 episodes.
Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai: Tensai-tachi no Renai Zunōsen, the second season of the television anime, premiered in April 2020. An anime video project (OVA) was released in May 2021.
Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai -Ultra Romantic- , the third season of the anime series, premiered on April 9. Aniplex of America held its US premiere on April 2 at the Aratani Theater in Los Angeles and at the Japan Society in New York. The hour-long final episode of the series aired last week. The series has planned a new anime, which will be announced after the end of the third season.
