What happened in Kaiju #8 Episode #10
Produced by Production IG; Directed by Kenta Kushiya
Kaiju #8 episode #10, “Secrets Revealed”, continues the battle between Hoshina and Kaiju #10, the latter having now evolved into a giant form. There was nothing Hoshina could do to reach 10th in his new form, and with Hoshina overtaxing his suit, he was soon nearly helpless. However, as the fight continued, Hoshina remembered Mina is the only person who gives Hoshina a chance even though he has no gun skillsAnd so he continued to fight even though he still had no chance against number 10.
However, just as Hoshina was about to be killed, Mina returned to base and began attacking Kaiju Number 10. To help Mina get a better shot at Kaiju Number 10's core, Hoshina along with Kikoru put everything they had into numbing Number 10's legs were paralyzed, and thanks to that, Mina was able to behead Kaiju Number 10. Unfortunately, the battle was not over, as in a final attempt to destroy the Defense Forces, Kaiju number 10 commanded flying Kaiju to fuse into a giant bomb with destructive power equal to that of a nuclear weapon..
With everyone still struggling after the last battle, no one was equipped to deal with Kaiju Number 10's final game, and that seemed to be the end for Team Three. However, before the bomb could explode, Kafka transforms into his Kaiju form, although he now reveals himself as Kaiju number 8 to everyone, and uses his powers to dislodge the bomb before anyone can be killed. However, Kafka's victory was short-lived because as soon as everyone regained their composure, Mina and the other members of Team Three placed Kafka under arrest.
Kaiju Issue 8 Episode #10 Changes Everything
Kafka's identity is now exposed
Everything in Kaiju No. 8 has been completely changed. The anime seems to have an easy superhero-like story by having Kafka secretly fight the Kaiju as Kaiju No. 8, both so he doesn't get killed and so he can get recognition for his actions. own efforts, but with Kafka was revealed as Kaiju number 8 after only 10 episodes, the superhero narrative of Kaiju No. 8 was completely thrown out the window. There's no way to know how things will progress from here, and that makes Kaiju No. 8 the most interesting it's been in weeks.
Kaiju #8 Volume #10 delivers both action and story
In terms of action and visuals, Production IG's Kaiju No. 8 once again shines on all fronts with episode #10. Episode #10 was the first time Kenta Kushiya and Susumu Nishizawa directed and wrote the anime respectively, but even with that, every fight scene in Kaiju number 8 episode #10 is filled with stunning visuals and direction, the scene where Kafka disposes of the bomb is a particularly great highlight. The anime may be starting to wrap up at this point, but luckily that doesn't affect the visuals at all.
The writing used in episode #10 is also great to see. The big twist when Kafka identifies himself as Kaiju No. 8 is one thing, but The added depth to Hoshina's character makes him an even more likable actor, because now there's more to him than just being a comedic character with occasional serious moments. The writing in Kaiju number 8 has always been one of its biggest weaknesses, but it's probably at its best in episode #10, and it promises great things for episode #11 and beyond.
Be sure to watch Kaiju number 8 episode #11 when released on Saturday, June 22.
