Kodoani.com – December issue of Monthly Shonen Sunday magazine Shogakukan just revealed on Tuesday that famous manga author Shun Matsuena will release a new manga titled Kichijōji Shōnen (Kichijōji Boy). The manga is expected to officially appear in the next issue of the magazine December 12.
Story of Kichijōji Shōnen
Kichijōji Shōnen is set in Kichijōjia neighborhood located in the city MusashinoWest Tokyowhere Matsuena spent her childhood days. Given this setting, fans can expect an intimate story that reflects the author's memories and memories of this special region.
Notably, Kichijōji Shōnen was first published as a oneshot in Monthly Shonen Sunday in 2019, and will now be developed into an official series.
