Kodoani.com – Kadokawa ‘s Dengeki Maoh magazine announced on Friday that the manga Zatsu Tabi – That’s Journey– by Kenta Ishizaka will get an anime adaptation. Kadokawa did not reveal more information about the anime.
Ishizaka drew the illustration below to celebrate the anime’s announcement.
The anime also posted a special survey, asking the participants which part of Japan they themselves would like to travel to. The top language in the possible answers appears in the anime.
The manga centers on Chika Suzugamori, a college student who has been buying some promotional manga for publishers since she won the rookie manga award, but was repeatedly rejected. Just when she was about to lose hope in the manga industry, she decided to go on a trip with no particular goal in mind.
Ishizaka launched the manga on Dengeki Maoh in March 2019 and it’s still going. Kadokawa published the manga’s ninth volume on Friday.
