Ahead of the 2023 season, the LCK held an honor ceremony to award a series of excellent players in this region in 2022.
As is known, Riot Games will replace the All-star event like every year with the Kickoff Season in January 2023. So currently, the LCK is quite “sloppy” in organizing the ceremony to honor the players and the team who have worked hard in the past year.
With the creation of the “LCK Open” and winning the championship at Worlds, Korea has officially returned to being the strongest region in the world of League of Legends. Therefore, the awards at this year’s LCK have received a lot of attention and support from the international fan community.
As for the awards, the LCK gave the “Rookie of the Year” award to VicLa – rookie of the year.
Next is the Spring First Team for 5 players: Zeus – Canyon – Faker – Gumayusi – Keria.
LCK Spring Team of the Year.
Summer First Team belongs to 5 names: Zeus – Peanut – Chovy – Ruler – Lehends.
Then there are awards for each position including Support, Bot, Mid, Jungle and Top of the Year for 5 LCK players. Names honored in each position include:
Keria was the best Support player in the LCK last year.
Ruler with the title of Bottom of the Year.
Zeka – Mid of the Year.
Oner – Jungle of the Year.
Zeus with the Top of the Year award.
Finally, the most prestigious award for individuals – “Player of the Year” belongs to Zeka. It can be said that he had an extremely impressive performance at the last Worlds 2022, so this title is completely worthy of what he has shown.
The photos awarded by the LCK title were shared by reporter Ashley Kang in Korea.
In addition, brands and sponsors also award prizes based on stats and figures for players in the LCK. Typically, T1 also has some special titles:
Gumayusi received the “Gold King” award from the sponsor of T1.
