DRX from LCK Spring to LCK Summer 2023 is disappointing more and more when wearing the title of World Champion but “slack” at the bottom of the rankings.
DRX’s achievements are frustrating not just a day or two, but it has lasted for more than half a year since the LCK Spring 2023. Reputed as the defending champion of Worlds 2022, DRX only has a shell left by both The roster and coaching staff that brought their Worlds “miracle” have all left. The 2023 LCK Summer Split has only been going on for 3 weeks, but the expectations have been high enough for DRX fans to speak up.
DRX’s performance after 2 weeks of competition has caused extreme disappointment among fans
While the lower-rated teams of the LCK such as NS, KDF or BRO have all had their victories, DRX is at the bottom of the table with a round zero. They couldn’t win a single match in the 2 weeks of the 2023 LCK Summer Split.
The DRX roster can only retain BeryL, but perhaps the lineup isn’t the only reason for DRX’s prolonged defeats.
Although knowing that 4/5 players and the entire coaching staff have parted ways to contribute to the unbelievable feat of winning the World Championship 2022, the above results are difficult to swallow for DRX fans. That’s why their anger has peaked forcing them to act.
DRX gets truck sent by fan to LOL Park. The words on the truck had the following content:
– There is no place for an incompetent Head Coach. Kim Mokkyeong OUT.
– Every year the team is broken up, is DRX a united team?
– The fans have suffered enough. DRX needs to establish a satisfactory explanation.
– We have been patient and waiting. Now is the time for DRX to communicate its upcoming goals throughout the year.
– From Worlds champion to loser? The head coach and the team are held accountable for the team’s poor performance.
– The unreasonable selection of players resulted in 3 wins and 19 losses. (3-15 in Spring and 4 losses in Summer, now 3-20). Who benefits from these options?
– The incompetent head coach tells the fans to forget their past glory (of the team). While all that remains for fans is the glory of the past.
– The head coach only knows how to hide behind the player’s back, he should remember that he is not the one who has the right to shirk responsibility.
– 9th or last place. Now recommend to change personnel? What has head coach Kim Mokkyeong (Micro) been doing for the past half year?
– Poor behavior is not worthy of a leader. Blame the players on interviews and absences from fan meeting events. Kim Mokkyeong (Microphone) OUT.

Remember in the group stage of the LCK Spring 2023, Coach Micro repeatedly promised fans a brighter outlook, but also admitted that the tournament was too much for them. This is still true until now because after five Bo3 series have passed, DRX has only won…only one game and lost 10 games!
