A few days ago, RNG made the international LoL community fiercely criticized for continuing to be mentioned in a drama that owes staff salaries.
In recent years, the reigning MSI champion – Royal Never Give Up has become a scandalous team with countless dramas big and small around the leadership. Typically, cases were sued by former players for salary debt, delayed wages, owners being accused of bribery and fixing money, etc., especially rumors of “bad treatment” with Xiaohu – a player who wore the RNG shirt. Since the day this team was founded, this is said to be one of the reasons why Xiaohu joined WBG in the last transfer season.
“Princess” like Xiaohu also had to leave the League of Legends team of RNG after more than 7 years of attachment.
Recently, RNG continued to be mentioned in a drama related to the debt of former employees. According to research, this employee is Purichan and has worked for RNG for 3 years, he has helped RNG a lot in overseas jobs such as at Worlds 2022.
According to Purichan, RNG promised to pay him on November 15, but as of December 30, 2022, he has not yet paid. By the time he emailed the company to ask, RNG had already locked his account and not allowed to ask more about this issue.
Realizing that he couldn’t confront a big company like RNG on his own, Purichan shared his story and asked for help from the international LoL community.
Purichan shares a series of posts on international LoL forums from Weibo, Reddit to Twitter.
Perhaps RNG is still quite concerned about their image in the eyes of the international gaming community, so after only 1 day since these posts were spread, they paid Purichan’s salary.
