After a long time of being unpopular, Lissandra may be back stronger than ever thanks to Riot’s buffs in this 13.1 patch.
The first version of the 2023 season is about to land and Riot has specifically told us the upcoming changes. In version 13.1, Riot has made a series of changes to the generals as well as equipment to adjust the balance in the matches.
Among the buffed generals in this version, players need to pay special attention to Lissandra – Mid lane Mage has a large amount of control and strong push ability. Since being nerfed in patch 12.10 for damage, Ice Queen’s Ultimate heal rate along with Resist increases for all champions. Lissandra seems to have “lost waves” and is no longer very popular in ranked matches, as well as in the professional arena.
After more than half of the season, finally in patch 13.1, Riot gave Lissandra some necessary buffs to help the Ice Queen have a stronger footing in the new 2023 season
In the next version 13.1, Lissandra will receive the following tweaks:
Basic parameters:
Health per Level increased from 104 to 110
Skill Q – Ice Shard:
Slow ratio increased from 16% – 28% to 20% – 36%
Skill W – Cold Circle:
Cooldown reduced from 14 – 10 seconds to 12 – 8 seconds
Overall, Lissandra’s level-up health is a quality buff for the Ice Queen. As a Mage champion with a penchant for rushing towards the enemy team to deal as much damage as possible and control as effectively as possible, Lissandra needs more stamina to increase her survivability after each fight. The amount of Slow from Q – Ice Plate and the reduced cooldown of W – Frosty Circle will also make Lissandra extremely powerful, especially in the Mid-Battle. Maybe it’s just a matter of damage that is Lissandra’s limitation, but with an area control Mage, we can’t ask for much from the amount of damage she can provide.
Although it is impossible to say whether Lissandra will be able to become an S-tier in Mid lane after patch 13.1 or not. But with the popularity of Melee Assassin generals like Zed, Sylas and Akali recently, choosing Lissandra will be a hard counter to help the enemy catch them as well as control the main enemy in combat.
