With only a single change in his ultimate, Blitzcrank was brought to the top lane by some gamers and became the new gladiator of League of Legends.
Up until now, Blitzcrank has always been a mutant in the bot lane thanks to his Rocket Hand (Q) pulls. However, the amount of damage of this Steam Robot is not appreciated by the League of Legends community.
Seemingly realizing Blitzcrank’s lack of damage compared to other champions, Riot Games recently made adjustments to bring this card back to the meta. But perhaps Riot Games has buffed a bit “too much”, so he accidentally brought this champion from the support role to become a speed fighter.
Blitzcrank PBE
More specifically, Blitzcrank’s Electromagnetic Field (R) passive allows him to mark enemies with each basic attack (max 3 stacks), consuming 1 stack every second and dealing 50/100 /150 (+30% AP) to enemies.
But with the latest PBE tweak, the number of times Blitzcrank can mark an enemy is unlimited. As a result, Blitzcrank becomes an “easy to play and easy to win” champion – just turn on Boost (W) and Hook (E) in a 1vs1 fight.
With the latest update on the PBE, Blitzcrank promises to be brought to different positions in League of Legends.
In the video, this guy used Blitzcrank in the top lane gladiator style with the equipment set including Fire Gloves, Guinsoo’s Rage Blade, Nashor’s Fang, Martyr’s Armor. The Super Rune used is Deadly Tempo. As a result, this new Blitzcrank can deal mixed damage and has a pretty good resistance compared to top lane champions in the current meta.
However, this is just the gameplay being tested on the PBE server, whether Blitzcrank can become a hot pick in ranked mode or not, it still has to wait until this update appears on the official server.
