Although not satisfied when being “banned” by Riot, it seems that DNK has not successfully appealed and will be forced to take a break from playing League of Legends for 3 years as the penalty has been declared.
Although VCS Summer 2023 has entered a tense play-off period, the hottest information in the Vietnamese LoL village is how Riot handles SE after a long investigation. With the violation of the rules and regulations of the tournament, the SBTC Esports collective must receive strong penalties from the VCS BTC. In addition to the fact that SE was disbanded from the VCS tournament, and the sponsor was permanently banned from investment activities, the players still in the Red Chicken squad including: Nper, DNK, Penguin, Vinboyz and Dia1 all had to receive sentences. 3 year ban from VCS Sunset 2023.

The information about the punishment has not been changed even though some of the players mentioned have appealed
This is the most severe punishment VCS has ever had against a whole group, the punishment from the VCS Organizing Committee is necessary as well as a deterrent to other individuals or groups who intend to commit violations. 3 years out of the professional game is a very long time. No one thinks that after 3 years of “banning”, the players are still enthusiastic or the game is still alive. Therefore, players who have just received a penalty will have to find other directions for themselves before thinking about making a comeback in the future.

SBTC pink chicken will never appear at VCS again, sorry but can’t defend
The online community when receiving information about the penalty of SBTC Esports and the players expressed their regret for a group that was once loved at VCS. But almost no one defended when the penalty was clear that the team and players of SE were not “clean”.
The time BTC VCS just announced the sanctioning decision, the SE players posted a forum to express their disapproval when the BTC failed to give specific evidence of the violations. However, up to now, BTC VCS has not made any further announcements about this incident.

The appeal efforts seem to be in vain, DNK has accepted the 3-year ban as originally announced by VCS. On his personal page, DNK posted a story with the content: “See you in Saigon in 3 years” as implicitly confirming that he will still pursue the professional League of Legends path after the penalty period expires.

DNK’s goodbye to Saigon seems to be his meeting again with his League of Legends career
DNK will probably leave Saigon after the penalty and will return 3 years after the ban has expired to start over with League of Legends.
