The League of Legends community is worried that Riot Games is creating another super buggy champion after Syndra’s rework.
After launching the Syndra Self at Du Linh skin, Riot Games recently brought her a mid-range edit when the Dark Queen’s skill set was somewhat lagging behind the current versions. at the League of Legends.
Syndra will get a mid-range tweak in patch 12.19
In version 12.19, the skills of the Dark Queen will have the following changes:
Basic stats:
Base health reduced from 593 to 563.
Passive – Ultimate:
NEW: Wrath Shards Syndra can now upgrade skills by collecting Wrath Shards. Syndra uses a skill to hit an enemy champion twice within 4 seconds to gain 1/2/3 Wrath Shards (based on level 1/11/18). This passive has an 8 second cooldown. Furthermore, Syndra will receive 5 Fragments each time you level up. Eating the Rook minion will also get 1 Piece. Syndra will restore 20 – 215 Mana (based on level) every time Fragments are collected from enemies. At the milestones of 40, 60, 80, 100 Fragments of Wrath, Syndra will upgrade skills Q, W, E, R respectively and the icons of skills will change color. At 120, Syndra gains 15% more Ability Power.
Q skill – Shadow Orb:
Cooldown increased from 4 seconds to 7 seconds. Mana cost reduced from 40 – 80 to 40 – 60. Shadow Orb’s duration increased from 6 seconds to 6.5 seconds. NEW: When upgrading her Q skill at 40 stacks of Wrath Shards, Syndra can store up to 2 Shadow Orbs, each with a duration of 1 second.
Skill W – Willpower:
Skill cast range increased from 400 to 450. Bug fix: Willpower no longer causes enemies to be dragged to death immediately after casting NEW: When upgrading W at 60 stacks of Wrath Shard, Syndra deals an additional 15 % (+ 1.5% per 100 Ability Power) true damage.
Skill E – Sweep the Weak:
Damage reduced from 85 – 265 (+60% Ability Power) to 75 – 235 (55% Ability Power). Skill cone width increased from 34 degrees to 56 degrees. Cooldown reduced from 18-14 seconds to 15 seconds at all ranks. Stun duration reduced from 1.5 seconds to 1.25 seconds. Bugfix: E+Q chains at close range now deal normal damage instead of losing damage due to the bug. NEW: When E skill is upgraded at 80 stacks of Wrath Shard, Scavenger’s width will be increased to 84 degrees, and when Syndra successfully Stuns or Repels enemies with this skill, Slow them down 75% for 1.25 seconds
Skill R – Explosion of Power:
NEW: Q skill grants 10/20/30 Skill Regen. Skill damage reduced from 90 – 190 (+20% Ability Power) to 90 – 170 (+17% Ability Power). NEW: When upgrading R at 100 stacks of Wrath Shards, Boom of Power now has the ability to FINISH enemy champions below 15% Health.
In addition, Riot Games also upgraded the appearance of the Dark Queen
In general, Syndra’s new skill set after this edit is considered to be very optimal for her strength. With these quality upgrades, the Dark Queen can completely compete with today’s top Mid laners like Viktor or Azir. Previously, Syndra’s Ultimate was a skill that allowed her to optimize the damage from her orbs in the early game and weaken towards the late game. However, currently, Syndra’s “new” Ultimate is considered too “faulty” with the Finish effect. Specifically, with the ability to wipe out enemies below 15% Health, Syndra at the end of the game will really become an “easy to play and easy to win” champion with the push of an R button. Moreover, because of the Explosion of Power (R) ) is a target selection skill so we can’t avoid it, this powerful tool can make Syndra a complete “error” champion in the near future.
Even in the Support position, the “new” Syndra is still very buggy and not inferior in damage compared to the usual staples
On the other hand, a part of fans believe that the reduced base stats as well as the damage of skills can make Syndra’s strong early-game champion lose. The Dark Queen now needs to play safer in the laning phase to accumulate Wrath Fragments to upgrade her skills. After that, Syndra can freely roam and destroy your team.
Normally, Riot’s mid-range updates always create extremely “error” champions. Looking back at the past we can easily see that Sivir rose to become the strongest ADC right after being edited, or Spirit Traveler Udyr was once “immortal” and banned continuously, or Most recently, Hecarim is claiming dominance in the Forest area at the last 12.17 patch. But then, Riot Games will make timely adjustments to bring balance in the game.
Conclude:
This mod for Syndra is expected to land in patch 12.19 with the Syndra Tu Ta Du Linh skin. Any worries or doubts about the power of the Dark Queen will be completely tested in the near future and even you can check for yourself whether the “new” Syndra is really a buggy champion after editing. or not. Game4V will continuously update Riot’s new information and changes to readers as soon as possible.
