Before the launch of the Riot server for Vietnam League of Legends, Riot Games had an official announcement about the change of item prices and RP conversion.
As Riot Games previously announced, most of the items in the player’s League of Legends account will be transferred from the Garena account to the Riot account. But the amount of RP will be adjusted according to a certain percentage.
As of today, Riot Games has announced the official change of item prices at the Riot server, and announced the RP rate to buy items in League of Legends:
Convert RP
First is the RP ratio:
1,000 VND on Garena server = 53 RP. 1,000 VND on Riot server = 250 RP.
After the transition, you will find yourself with a higher amount of RP, but the value in VND remains the same in your account. This means that every 53 RP of the Garena server will be converted to 250 RP of the Riot server.
Change in price RP
According to the announcement from Riot Games, the official price of skins in the Riot server is divided into 5 basic levels:
Ultimate: 3250 RPLegendary: 1820 RPEpic: 1350 RPBasic: 975 RPDeluxe: 750 RP
For example some items in the store such as:
RP price for Ezreal Warrior Academy skin (Legend level):
On Garena server: 599RP ($11.30 = VND 265,550) On Riot server: 1,820RP ($7.28 = VND 171,080)
RP price for Gwen Sweet Tea Shop (Epic tier):
On Garena server: 290RP (5.47 USD = 128,545 VND) On Riot server: 1,350RP (5.40 USD = 126,900 VND)
RP price for 1 Multicolor Grand Admiral Glasc:
On Garena server: 20RP (0.38 USD = 8,930 VND) On Riot server: 290RP (1.16 USD = 27,260 VND)
RP price of 1 Dragon World Grand Admiral Egg:
On Garena server: 99RP (1.87 USD = 43,945 VND) On Riot server: 490RP (1.96 USD = 46,060 VND)
In League of Legends, there are items that will increase in price but there are also items that will decrease in price (valued in VND) at the Riot server.
“Our goal in making this transition is to give Southeast Asian players the best experience, similar to players in other regions.
As part of realizing this goal, we will be making a few pricing changes to ensure a consistent pricing structure across regions.” – Riot Games explains the reason for the change in item prices in the Vietnam region LoL.
Since when?
The new prices will apply from January 6, 2023.
