Preseason 2023 Spotlight | Gameplay – League of Legends
First, the Enchanted Dragon will return after being removed from Summoner’s Rift for a while, its new buff that will give players resistance, healing, and shields. Dragon Soul Transformation will deal more damage and reduce damage taken when low health.
Similar to the other Elemental Dragons, the Chemical Dragon also has its own map and will turn Summoner’s Rift into a new version of the plant system.
Heal Fruit: Grants health and a shield, but is not slowed.
Flower of Illumination: Grants movement speed and reduces the health of exposed wards by 1.
Exploding Pine Nuts: Pushes the player away when activated.
A new jungle system will also be developed with separate “pets”. In addition, when clearing jungle monsters, players can ping to help teammates know the jungle, thereby cooperating more smoothly when ganking or invading, etc.
Talking about the ping system, players will now have many more types of ping including Hold, Push, Bait, and All-In (roughly translated: Hold, Push, Lure and Dry). Besides, there are many types of ping to control different vision. At the same time, ping will be displayed on the screen in a certain direction to help players pay more attention.
As previously announced, the Pre-Season will have the return of the Scepter of Life, along with a series of equipment that promises to completely change the League of Legends meta.
