After reworking in League of Legends, Aurelion Sol has for himself some powerful and influential new control skills on the map.
According to the announcement from Riot Games, Aurelion Sol will be reworked the skill set to be able to “comeback” in League of Legends in the current meta. Half a year ago, Riot Games also revealed some images of the new skill set of the Evil Dragon Upper World, but those are only images in the testing phase.
As of today, Aurelion Sol version 2023 has been officially revealed:
Aurelion Sol Gameplay Update | League of Legends
Based on the video, Aurelion Sol’s passive will no longer be the “Center of the Universe” with stars revolving around himself. Instead, the champion will summon a meteor towards the target and stun (or knock it up). This is also a skill that has been predicted by the gaming community, because in the current season, Aurelion Sol also has the ability to summon meteors.
In the Q skill, it is no longer “Nebula Sphere”, but Aurelion Sol will launch a “fire-breathing” skill, if it hits the enemy long enough and activates all 6 stars, it will deal a small amount of extra damage. According to the leaked video half a year ago, this skill can be released while W is active.
W is almost a similar skill to this champion’s old Space Travel (E). Although the video is not clearly described, it is highly likely that this will still be a skill to help Aurelion Sol overcome terrain and roam around the map like before.
Skill E is akin to a “black hole” with the effect of slowing and sucking the target in its center of influence.
As for the ultimate, it is described as quite similar to the passive, but the difference is that the wave spans thousands of units of distance and interacts with the target hit. Perhaps this mysterious wave can deal damage or locate a target for Aurelion Sol.
