Riot is trying to minimize the difficulties in the early stages for future Junglers.
Recently, Riot Games has announced a detailed plan of updates for the Forest area in the future. These changes and corrections are also set to be implemented in the 2023 Pre-Season.
According to the League of Legends design team, the Jungler position now has to take on too many roles, from clearing the jungle, organizing ganks, controlling goals and vision. At the same time, there’s just too much of a difference between junglers in the big league compared to them in regular ranked. Therefore, the purpose of Riot’s new season change is to make the jungler’s task easier, and at the same time expand the champion pool in this position.
“Currently in League of Legends, the reality is that there are not many champions that can meet the requirements in high ranked matches or the professional arena. They are lacking a lot compared to the rest of the Junglers.” – Riot shared.
In particular, the most notable change is that the Jungler will have more summoned beasts. This may remind many players of the Wolf Soul in the previous Butcher enchanted Jungle item.
Riot emphasizes that these summoned beasts will follow the Jungler throughout the game. The more jungle monsters you eat, the stronger they will be and they will even help you increase certain stats. However, at the moment, there are still no more details about the new “pet”, players need to wait for more announcements from Riot in the near future.
In addition, the jungle equipment system will also be reworked to be more diverse. Currently, having only the choice between Blue and Red Punishment really makes the gameplay boring and uncreative. Therefore, Riot wants to create more unique Jungle equipment, such as Dinosaur Soul or Wriggle Lantern in previous seasons.
Finally, Riot Games also plans to adjust the effects of Bizarre Crab, or enhance the role of the Jungler in taking down the Monster.
Conclude:
There aren’t a lot of details about the jungle renewal yet, though. However, the first information of the 2023 Pre-Season will arrive this November. Therefore, Riot will have a large amount of time to think, orient and make the Jungle area of League of Legends more complete. Game4V will update all information about Riot’s changes in the future to readers as soon as possible.
