Riot Games’ League of Legends development team recently revealed more information about the VGU update for Skarner.
In the previous year, Skarner won the vote to choose the next champion that will receive a future VGU update. However, up to now Riot has only provided us with very little information about the situation happening around Diamond Scorpion.
Recently, in the video about the new additions in the 2023 season, Lexi Gao – Riot’s champion production director revealed a lot of information about the VGU update for Skarner.
“VGU Skarner development team is beginning to discover the best ways to develop Diamond Scorpio”
“At this point, we haven’t left out any details about scorpions to learn all about the theme, skill set ideas, and stories.”
The development team also said that last year they tried to improve the appearance of Skarner with a lot of small updates. However, all is still not enough to save the situation of Scorpio Diamond. Only a complete rework, with a lot of enthusiasm from the Riot team, can help Skarner have a better place in ranked matches as well as the opportunity to appear in the professional arena.
Riot is working hard with reworks in this 2023 season. Some recent famous names, such as Jax or Aurelion Sol, are champions who have specific images as well as details about new skill sets that are about to land in the future. In the future, players will continue to look forward to a series of champions that will be remade by Riot in many ways to help them catch up with the game. Among them, Jax will be the champion that will be updated mid-range and put on the official server in version 13.1 on January 10.
The complete rework version of Skarner has not yet had a specific release date. However, Riot will soon let players know more information about the new Diamond Scorpion with a high probability of landing in 2023.
