Having just spent a turbulent week with Oner’s bug, the LCK has once again suffered a “remake” scene due to the influence of the game bug.
*Note for readers:
Bug (Game error accidentally encountered during the match)
Chrono-break (Go back to the previous time a few minutes and the match will start again from there)
Remake (Starting a new match with a new pick and ban)
The LCK tournament is always the most anticipated tournament by everyone in the world, because here there are the best players like Faker, Chovy, Gumayusi, etc. At the same time, it is both tactical and “marco” ( handling the situation) in the game was great.
However, in the past time, the LCK has received a lot of criticism for the way the bug was handled during the match between T1 and HLE. Specifically, the game bug about Gumayusi’s mastery board and Oner’s Punishment.
Despite giving apologies and promises not to repeat the mistake, it seems that the audience of the LCK has once again been disappointed. On the afternoon of July 20, in the second match between NS and DK, the game error occurred again with Amumu’s Flash spell at 17 minutes.
Error cannot use Flash:
This error is as follows, while using Magic Flash that is affected by controlling the enemy team, sometimes will make Flash unable to be used for the rest of the game.
17 minutes, after trying to use Magic Flash to cross the wall, Efforts’ Amumu was swallowed by Tahm Kench. After that, Efforts’ Flash summoner spell was available but couldn’t be used.
This error appeared 1 year ago, and now “still” can happen again sometimes. Unfortunately, the game bug once again happened to the LCK rep.
A year ago had a “same” error
After the bug occurred, Efforts stopped the game, and the LCK decided to Chrono-break back to the time before Efforts was “caught”. However, the referee’s efforts could not make the game error go away. The LCK has come to the final decision to remake even though DK has a huge lead after only 18 minutes of play.
Conclude:
Bug games always feel unfair to the teams (DK has to restart the game even though the win rate is up to 90%). However, the variables in the match are inevitable, the inability to use Flash greatly affects NS’s teamfights, so the Remake is inevitable.
