As a League of Legends team with a strong roster, but HLE was not successful in the LCK Spring 2023, Zeka thinks they are too “harmonious”.
HLE is called a super team because it gathers the most expensive League of Legends players in the 2022 transfer season, including the trio of World Championship champions Zeka – Kingen – Viper. In particular, Viper alone, HLE proposed the highest salary in the LCK for ADC to get the signature of the “god arrow”. With this investment from HLE, fans are looking forward to HLE’s “outstanding” performance in the 2023 LCK Spring Split.
HLE’s “smell of money” lineup also only helped them get into the play-offs
Despite a rough start, HLE also entered the LCK Spring 2023 play-off. However, they also only managed to get 4th place in the end – this is not the achievement that fans expect from this League of Legends team. In that performance, Viper and Zeka were the two biggest bright spots in the HLE lineup.
Zeka believes that communication is the most important key for HLE
In a recent interview, player Zeka shared a lot about his situation as well as the whole team. Most notably, this mid laner pointed out the points that kept HLE from having the best results.
“People think that we are both players with strong personalities, so we will give clear opinions and can lead to controversy. But unfortunately things are not like that. In a League of Legends team, expressing personal opinions and then arguing is an important factor to find a way to overcome and help the team develop. However, we often don’t say anything and let the matter pass.” Zeka said.
“We should be more frank after realizing the problem in training as well as in official matches. This is something the team needs to improve on next season.”
Viper is supposed to shine alone in the play-offs
Communication has always been the key to winning strategy games like League of Legends. HLE doesn’t have the controversies needed to figure out what’s wrong with individual play or the way the team operates. Fortunately, the atmosphere between the players is still quite good, with Clid and Life leading, so Zeka believes that HLE will have more positive changes in the LCK Summer 2023.
