Kodoani.com – Official website of the manga adaptation Tomodachi Game (Friends Games) has posted a new trailer. The video reveals more of the anime’s voice cast, and also reveals the opening theme song “Double Shuffle” by Nana Mizuki.
New voice cast includes: Minami Takayama as Manabu-kun Reina Ueda as Maria Mizuse Shizuka Itou as Tsukino
The series will premiere on NTV on April 6 at 1:29 a.m. JST. The program will then be broadcast on BS NTV and AT-X. The show will also stream on Hulu and the Anime Store. Crunchyroll will stream the anime as it airs in Japan.

The story, based on an original concept by Mikoto Yamaguchi, revolves around Yūichi Katagiri, a young man with a perfect student life who has four friends who have a difficult life. His peaceful daily life ended when 2 million yen (about $20,000) of his school fees went missing. The puzzle unfolds as Yūichi gets caught up in a mysterious game for money and must decide if friendship or money is more important.
Hirofumi Ogura and Satomi Miyazaki designed the characters.
Studio Tulip’s Si Man Wei is the art director, while Studio Tulip’s Tsukasa Ohira is in charge of the art production.
Aiko Mizuno is the main color artist. Yomogiko Murano is the director of photography.
MICHIRU is composing music. Hiroto Morishita ( Higurashi: When They Cry – GOU ) is directing the sound at Studio Mouse .
The rock band saji will perform the Ending song “Tomoshibi.”
Sato launched the manga in Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine in December 2013. The manga went on hiatus in December 2019, returning for one chapter in February 2020, and then resumed a hiatus. The series will premiere in August 2020.
