Kodoani.com – Kadokawa’s MF Books publisher has just released the 10th and final volume of the light novel series “Isekai Yakkyoku” (Parallel World Pharmacy) by Liz Takayama on January 25. The series ended on the Shōsetsuka ni Narou (Let’s Be Novelists) website on September 21.
Liz Takayama introduced the story on the Shōsetsuka ni Narou website in 2015. Kadokawa’s publisher MF Books then released the first volume of the light novel series with illustrations by Keepout in January 2016.
Sei Takano is drawing the manga adaptation, which is currently being serialized on Kadokawa’s Kadokomi (formerly ComicWalker) website. The manga adaptation will continue the story and released the 10th volume on December 21. One Peace Books will publish the fourth volume of the manga adaptation in English on April 23.
“One Peace Books” describes the content of the series as follows:
It’s time to change the wrong way of medical care in another world using modern pharmacy! When a young pharmacist devoted his life to his research and died from overwork, he was reincarnated as Farma, the son of a royal physician. In a new world where false remedies are rampant, Farma uses modern medicine and the power of fraud to cure every disease around him.
The anime adaptation of the novel series premiered in July 2022, and Crunchyroll streamed the English dub.
