Kodoani.com – XSEED Games posted six-minute gameplay on Friday for Loop8: Summer of Gods RPG for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC via Steam.
The game will launch in North America on June 6. Marvelous will release the game in Europe on the same day. The game will launch in Japan for platforms outside of Steam on June 1.
The game will receive a physical and online release. There will be a limited Celestial Edition that includes a 50+ page paperback art book, CD, a small wall scroll, an authentic Japanese wooden ema, and a box.

A coming-of-age adventure, Loop8: Summer of Gods follows protagonist Nini and his classmates as they attempt to defeat the Kegai, demonic entities that have pushed humanity to the brink extinction. Raised on a failed space station called “Hope”, Nini returns to Earth to spend her summer in Ashihara, one of humanity’s last remaining sanctuaries. Endowed with “Demon Sight”, Nini is able to use his special connection to the gods to reset the world, with each loop allowing him and his allies to relive the month. 8 until they get it right… or Kegai overpowers them completely.
Yūri Shibamura designed the game. Yoichi Miyaji is the game’s senior producer. Shingo Adachi and En Morikura designed the characters. Kitsuneiro is a concept artist. Ryudai Murayama designed the mascot characters and Noriyuki Iwadare composed the music.
NaHo/QiSui performed the game’s main song “Genfunkei.”
