Uzi and his EDG teammates had the 2nd LPL Summer 2023 play-off, they fought bravely to overcome OMG in the 5th game in BO5.
Yesterday’s play-off 3 LPL Summer 2023 marked another step forward for Uzi and his teammates’ efforts to reach the finals at EDG. EDG entered the play-off with the mentality of the team ranked 7th on the rankings and had to overcome WE before meeting OMG yesterday. But that only seems to make EDG’s fighting spirit much stronger and more resilient.

EDG worked hard until the last minute in a BO5 with OMG to win the chance to advance and also the chance to come to Worlds 2023
With the defeat of OMG, EDG would have guaranteed themselves a ticket at VLKV if they could not be the 1st or 2nd seed to appear in the grand finals. As for OMG, their 2023 season has officially ended here. Despite having a very impressive spring period with a top 4 position, the unstable performance in the summer period made OMG no longer maintain their previous position, and they had to stop in the 2nd round of the summer playoffs.

Uzi probably never thought of a comeback, let alone EDG or playoffs or Worlds

Going back to the pro and experiencing the stress of each game that made the legendary LPL player choke up
Uzi in the backstage of the LPL play-off couldn’t hold back his emotional tears. More than a month ago, Uzi was still a 26-year-old man with a warm family still sitting at home livestream, perhaps at that time no one thought that Uzi would come back, he also thought that the comeback day was just a dream of his.
However, no one expected that now they are fighting with their juniors for every small opportunity to return to the international arena again. Despite knowing that the pressure is great, Uzi still carries the tears of her dreams and ambitions, continuing to burn with her unfinished passion in her youth.

EDG’s next opponent is TES, win or lose EDG will still get a ticket to LPL’s VLKV
Uzi will accompany EDG on the way to realize his unfinished Worlds dream at RNG. EDG’s next obstacle is TES – The team is considered to be very strong in the domestic tournament. No matter what, LPL followers still hope Uzi will fulfill his dream with his current best efforts.
