Kodoani.com – Studio Chizu and renowned director Mamoru Hosoda, the man behind classics such as The Girl Who Leapt Through Time, Summer Wars, Wolf Children, The Boy and The Beast, and Mirai, have revealed the film Latest anime on Monday. The film is titled “Scarlet” (Hateshi naki Scarlet in Japanese, roughly translated: “Unlimited Scarlet”) and is expected to be released in winter 2025. This is Hosoda's first work in four years, since he released the film BELLE .
The film revolves around the main character Scarlet, a powerful princess who possesses the ability to transcend space and time. International Manufacturing and Distribution
Producer Yūichirō Saitō announced that Scarlet would be distributed worldwide. In Japan, TOHO will handle the distribution, while Sony Pictures will distribute the film internationally.
