Kodoani.com – On Saturday, one countdown website has been opened for introduction New anime project by famous manga author Yama Wayama. More detailed information about this project will be revealed later October 17 at the time 6:00 p.m. JST (5:00 a.m. EDT).
Yama Wayama known for outstanding works such as Captivated, by You (Muthū sa, Kimi ni.), Let’s Go Karaoke! (Karaoke Iko!) and Onna no Sono no Hoshi. Yen Press licensed the release of two manga Captivated, by You and Let’s Go Karaoke! in English.
Let’s Go Karaoke! was originally released as a publication dōjin in 2019, and then okay Kadokawa published in September 2020. This manga won third prize in Manga Taisho Award 14th time in 2021. Let’s Go Karaoke! has also been adapted into phim live-actionlaunched in January after being delayed from 2023.
Wayama also debuted Onna no Sono no Hoshi (Hoshi of the Girls' Garden) in the magazine Feel Young in January 2020. This manga has been nominated for Manga Taisho Award in 2021 and 2022, and topped the rankings Kono Manga ga Sugoi! 2021 among female readers and ranked #5 in the same ranking in 2022. The manga also reached #9 magazine's “Books of the Year” list Da Vinci 2020, and #6 on the 2021 list. Onna no Sono no Hoshi inspired one OVA Included with Blu-ray, released December 2022.
Manga Captivated, by Youintended for high school students, was released as a dōjin publication in February 2019. The work is a collection of romance manga for boys, including the story “Ushiro no Nikaidō” along with The sequel is 30 pages long.
