Kodoani.com – Issue 24 of Shogakukan's Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine revealed on Wednesday that the manga Freeze: Beyond Journey's End (sousou no frieren) by Kanehito Yamada and Tsukasa Abe will go on another hiatus starting with the magazine's 25th issue on May 15. The magazine did not reveal when the manga will resume serialization . The manga just returned in the magazine's compiled issues #22 and 23 on April 24 after a one-month hiatus.
Yamada and Abe launched the manga in Shogakukan's Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine in April 2020.
The series previously went on hiatus and returned to serialization in March 2023. Shogakukan published the manga's first compilation volume in August 2020 and released the 13th volume on the 17th. April. Viz Media licensed the manga and will release the 11th volume in English on September 10. The manga has had an additional 7 million copies in circulation since the anime's debut. There are currently more than 17 million copies of the manga in circulation.
Anime Freezing: Beyond Journey's End premiered a two-hour special on September 29 last year.
