The recently concluded manga is about a middle school student who lives with a mysterious bird-like creature
Kodoani.com – Shogakukan announced on Friday that the manga Kujima Utaeba Ie Hororo by Akira Konno will be adapted into an anime.
The manga's story begins when first-year high school student Arata Kōda encounters a mysterious bird-like creature named Kujima in the fall. Hungry and craving Japanese food, Kujima ends up staying with the Kōda family at their house, where the atmosphere is tense because Akira's older brother has failed his university entrance exam. Kujima lived with the Kōda family until winter passed and warm spring came.
Konno launched the manga in Shogakukan's Monthly Shonen Sunday magazine in September 2021. The series recently ended on April 12. Shogakukan published the manga's first compilation volume in April 2022, volume Thursday and the final episode on Friday.
The manga was nominated in the print category of the “Next Manga Awards”.
